Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Capability to adapt to different work scenarios quickly
- Physical ability to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks including lifting and operating floor scrubbers
- Willingness to maintain a positive attitude and deliver excellent customer service
- Compliance with company drug-free workplace policy
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in janitorial or maintenance roles helpful but not required
- Ability to work on feet for entire shifts
- Comfortable working in physically demanding and fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to follow safety procedures and handle chemicals properly
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Maintain safety of facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including safety sweeps and proper handling of hazardous materials
- Clean all areas of the facility including floors, windows, restrooms, and trash receptacles using approved chemicals and equipment
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing maintenance tasks, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of waste according to environmental programs
- Maintain appropriate levels of chemical supplies by rotating and storing them properly and placing orders to replenish stocks
- Provide a positive first and last impression to customers by keeping the facility clean and safe
- Adapt quickly to changing work scenarios and maintain a positive attitude throughout shifts
- Operate equipment safely and report any unsafe conditions to management
