Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in maintenance or custodial roles preferred
  • Ability to work in physically demanding environments
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment usage

Job Duties

  • Maintain safety of facility by following all safety standards, procedures and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps and reporting unsafe situations to management
  • Clean all areas of the facility including floors, windows, restrooms and trash receptacles using approved chemicals, supplies and equipment
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing necessary maintenance, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers and disposing of waste according to environmental sustainability programs
  • Maintain and replenish appropriate levels of company-approved chemicals and supplies, ensuring proper rotation and storage
  • Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a positive attitude and prioritizing member satisfaction
  • Adapt to different work scenarios in a fast-paced environment while working on feet for entire shifts
  • Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials and adhere to company steel standard guidelines
