Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in cleaning or maintenance roles preferred
- strong attention to detail
- ability to work productively in a fast-paced environment
- excellent communication skills
- ability to maintain a positive attitude and professionalism under pressure
- basic knowledge of safety standards and procedures
Job Duties
- Maintains safety of facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps
- cleans all areas of the facility such as floors, windows, restrooms, and trash receptacles while following company procedures and utilizing approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment
- ensures a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing necessary maintenance, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash per company environmental sustainability program
- maintains appropriate levels of company-approved chemicals and supplies including rotating and properly storing chemicals and placing orders when supplies run low
- follows proper forklift spotting procedures
- handles and disposes of hazardous materials according to procedures
- corrects or reports unsafe situations to management
