Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to perform physical tasks and stand for entire shifts
- Willingness to work in varying temperatures and weather conditions
- Must be able to follow safety protocols strictly
- Ability to handle and dispose of hazardous materials safely
- Capable of working independently or as part of a team
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in maintenance or custodial role preferred
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and physically demanding environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and adapt to change
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment use
Job Duties
- Maintain safety of facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps
- Clean all areas of the facility including floors, windows, restrooms, and trash receptacles using approved chemicals and equipment
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing maintenance as necessary
- Respond to spills promptly and operate floor scrubbers effectively
- Dispose of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with company environmental sustainability program
- Maintain appropriate levels of company-approved chemicals and supplies, including rotating and storing chemicals properly
- Place orders to replenish chemical supplies when low
