Job Duties
- maintains safety of facility by following safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps
- cleans all areas of the facility such as floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles following company procedures and using approved chemicals and tools
- ensures a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of waste according to environmental sustainability program
- maintains appropriate levels of company-approved chemicals and supplies including rotating and storing chemicals properly and placing orders to replenish low supplies
- follows proper forklift spotting procedures
- handles and disposes of hazardous materials following company protocols
- reports unsafe situations to management
- keeps a positive attitude to promote excellent member experience
