Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in maintenance or custodial roles preferred
- Ability to work in fast-paced and physically demanding environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment operation
Job Duties
- Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps
- Clean all areas of the facility including floors, windows, restrooms, and trash receptacles using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of waste in accordance with company environmental sustainability program
- Maintain appropriate levels of company-approved chemicals and supplies, ensure proper storage and rotation, and place orders to replenish low supplies
- Follow proper forklift spotting procedures and handling and disposal of hazardous materials
- Correct or report unsafe situations to management
- Adhere to company steel standard guidelines
- Maintain a positive attitude to ensure customers have a great first and last impression
