Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in maintenance or cleaning roles is advantageous
- Ability to work on feet for entire shifts and perform physically demanding tasks
- Familiarity with safety standards and procedures related to facility maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow company guidelines
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptability to changing work scenarios and schedules
Job Duties
- Maintain safety of facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps
- Clean all areas of the facility including floors, windows, restrooms, and trash receptacles following company procedures and using approved chemicals and equipment
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing maintenance tasks as necessary, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of waste according to the company's environmental sustainability program
- Maintain appropriate levels of company-approved chemicals and supplies, rotate and store chemicals properly, and place orders to replenish supplies when low
- Provide a positive first and last impression for members through consistent cleaning and maintenance
- Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials
- Report or correct unsafe situations to management promptly
