Job Duties
- Maintain safety of facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps, proper forklift spotting, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, following company steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to management
- Clean all areas of the facility including floors, windows, restrooms, and trash receptacles using company-approved procedures, guidelines, and methods
- Utilize approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment for cleaning
- Ensure a safe and clean environment by performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash according to company environmental sustainability program
- Maintain appropriate levels of company-approved chemicals and supplies, rotate and store chemical supplies properly, and place orders for replenishment when supplies are low
- Keep a positive attitude while working in fast-paced and physically demanding environments
- Provide exceptional member experience by ensuring a well-kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors
