Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in maintenance or janitorial roles preferred but not required
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments and remain on feet for entire shifts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Adaptability to fast-paced and changing work conditions
- Basic knowledge of safety standards and proper chemical handling preferred
Job Duties
- Maintain safety of facility by following all safety standards procedures and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps and reporting unsafe situations
- Clean all areas of the facility including floors windows restrooms trash receptacles using approved chemicals supplies tools and equipment
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing maintenance tasks responding to spills operating floor scrubbers and disposing of waste appropriately
- Maintain appropriate levels of company-approved chemicals and supplies including rotating and storing chemicals properly and placing orders to replenish low supplies
- Perform routine facility inspections to identify cleaning and maintenance needs and address them promptly
- Assist in setting up and breaking down equipment or displays as needed
- Support team members by communicating effectively and adhering to company policies and procedures
