Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
- FAA Airframe and Power Plant License
- minimum 5 years line maintenance and or base dock production, engineering or related experience
- must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

- 10 years line maintenance with supervision experience preferred
Job Duties
- Provides authorization for deferral items
- ensures total adherence to quality standards and compliance by engaging with stakeholders
- reviews deferrals for correct application and limit control
- provides real time advice and support for current operations
- provides flight crews, line maintenance technicians, and dispatch stakeholders with decisions and technical advice on a collaborative basis
- engages with service engineering, line maintenance, planning, and other support groups to reach a decision on technical completion
- provides real time troubleshooting and guidance to stations with out of service engine and related issues
- uses control authority to set direction for out of service issues
- acts as a conduit for bringing key entities together to determine direction and scope for out of service and complex work issues
- participates in cross functional interaction with network operation center disciplines
- participates in a working together and collaborative environment consistent with corporate standards with all employee groups
