Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
  • FAA Airframe and Power Plant License
  • minimum 5 years line maintenance and or base dock production, engineering or related experience
  • must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
  • FAA Airframe and Power Plant License
  • minimum 5 years line maintenance and or base dock production, engineering or related experience
  • must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
  • further technical training in fleet and extensive system knowledge preferred
  • 10 years line maintenance with supervision experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Provides authorization for deferral items
  • ensures total adherence to quality standards and compliance by engaging with stakeholders
  • reviews deferrals for correct application and limit control
  • provides real time advice and support for current operations
  • provides flight crews, line maintenance technicians, and dispatch stakeholders with decisions and technical advice on a collaborative basis
  • engages with service engineering, line maintenance, planning, and other support groups to reach a decision on technical completion
  • provides real time troubleshooting and guidance to stations with out of service engine and related issues
  • uses control authority to set direction for out of service issues
  • acts as a conduit for bringing key entities together to determine direction and scope for out of service and complex work issues
  • participates in cross functional interaction with network operation center disciplines
  • participates in a working together and collaborative environment consistent with corporate standards with all employee groups
