Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate
  • Experience with avionics troubleshooting
  • Ability to navigate aircraft and company manuals
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, maintenance software and MHIRJ Portal
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively
  • Commitment to safety and compliance
  • In good company standing
  • English proficiency
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate
  • Experience with avionics troubleshooting to ensure safety and reliability of aircraft systems
  • Ability to navigate aircraft manuals and company manuals
  • Strong ability to utilize MS Office suite, maintenance software and navigate MHIRJ Portal
  • Detail oriented with ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-functional environment and possess good communication skills
  • Advocate for safety and compliance
  • Embrace PSA Safety Management System (SMS)
  • In good company standing
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Preferred qualifications include CRJ or part 121, 129 or 135 line maintenance experience
  • Previous experience working in maintenance control

Job Duties

  • Determine schedules, maintenance/inspections, unscheduled maintenance requirements, items awaiting maintenance and available workforce at the beginning of each shift
  • Coordinate maintenance discrepancies and corrections of all operational aircraft, monitoring all mechanical problems on the line
  • Periodically review flight termination messages to analyze and determine if corrective action is sufficient and initiate proper action if necessary
  • Coordinate parts, manpower requirements and travel arrangements for field repairs, monitor field repairs and coordinate the return of work crews and parts to home base
  • Ensure outstation maintenance documentation compliance on PSA aircraft
  • Coordinate with Stores Department for status of AOG parts in progress
  • Monitor aircraft availability and coordinate equipment changes between Maintenance Department, Maintenance Planning, and Flight Control
  • Maintain and monitor a current MEL List, review parts required and expedite as necessary
  • Coordinate with Dispatch and Maintenance Planning on MEL and CDL procedures and status
  • Supply the MODM with incident reports for completion of Service Difficulty Reports
  • Maintain and monitor a Master Ferry Flight List, issue numbers and permits as required
  • Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
