Job Requirements
- Minimum 4 years experience in aviation maintenance administration, maintenance control, or flight operations support
- experience preparing, reviewing and processing Maintenance Action Forms, Work Orders, Aircraft Discrepancy Books, and JCN records
- proficient with maintenance information systems and Microsoft Office
- ability to interpret technical maintenance documentation
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
- able to obtain U.S. Security Clearance
- U.S. person as defined by export control regulations
- willingness to work 100 percent onsite
- able to pass drug screening
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years' experience in aviation maintenance administration, maintenance control, or flight operations support
- experience with U.S. Navy Maintenance Action Forms strongly preferred
- demonstrated experience preparing, reviewing and processing Maintenance Action Forms, Work Orders, Aircraft Discrepancy Books, and JCN records
- proficient with maintenance information systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- ability to interpret technical maintenance documentation and apply procedural directives
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- experience in military aviation maintenance environments
- prior experience coordinating with Database Administrators and Production Control
- high school diploma or equivalent
- technical or vocational training in aviation maintenance administration or related field preferred
- strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- ability to prioritize workload, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
Job Duties
- Help initialize, review and process special inspections and maintenance actions in Aircraft Discrepancy Book
- accurately document maintenance actions in Maintenance Action Forms for aircraft, engines, and assigned equipment including Aviation Life Support Systems, Aircraft Armament Systems, and Mission Mounted Equipment
- review Work Orders initiated by Work Centers, pilots or aircrew for proper coding and accurate discrepancy descriptions
- modify Work Order fields as authorized prior to approval
- verify and update job status codes, particularly at shift change
- assist Maintenance Control to ensure corrective actions are documented and determine the need for new Work Orders
- assist Maintenance Control in maintaining and managing the Aircraft Discrepancy Book, ensuring logbook and database records are current and accurate
- screen and forward Maintenance Action Forms to Logs and Records, coordinating with Work Centers and Quality Assurance to correct modifiable fields before approval routing
- perform maintenance planning analyses and develop work packages to support aircraft airworthiness
- review aircraft return-to-service documentation
- support aircraft availability metrics and contribute to maintenance scheduling and readiness reporting
- maintain effective communication with Quality Assurance, Material Control, Work Centers, and supervisory personnel
