Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to bend at waist and work on knees
- Ability to reach overhead
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to walk three flights of stairs
- Ability to work outside in hot or cold weather
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds

- General knowledge of heating air conditioning electric and plumbing skills

- Ability to patch holes clean carpets and paint walls

Job Duties
- Oversee property maintenance of grounds building facilities and guest rooms
- Inspect maintain and repair mechanical electrical and other equipment
- Perform daily cleaning and upkeep preventive maintenance small repair tasks and special projects
- Communicate larger maintenance needs to the General Manager
- Follow grooming and appearance guidelines and wear maintenance uniform and nametag at all times
- Order and install small maintenance items as directed
- Complete daily Maintenance Checklist and Maintenance Request Forms within 24 hours
- Perform Preventive Maintenance program timely
- Respond to maintenance emergencies on a 24 hour call basis
- Assist with carrying dishware items to rooms when requested
- Practice safe working conditions under OSHA guidelines including Blood borne Pathogens
- Handle chemicals safely as prescribed in Material Safety and Data Sheets
- Coordinate with management personnel to ensure hotel activities coordination
- Notify management about major repair needs
- Order maintenance supplies and track inventory
- Aid housekeeping department as needed
- Clear trash empty containers and clean sidewalks and stairs
- Clear debris from parking lot landscaping and dumpster area
- Maintain exterior cleanliness using pressure washer and blower
- Monitor furnace air-conditioner boiler and sprinkler systems
- Maintain pool Jacuzzi and complete logs
- Mow lawn trim shrubbery and cultivate flowers
- Paint walls ceilings doors and window trim
- Provide Preventive Maintenance to guest rooms including lighting electrical plumbing HVAC appliances doors locks furniture carpet and floor coverings
- Clean guest laundry washers dryers vending machines and common areas twice daily
- Maintain organized maintenance workshop and storerooms
- Adhere to all training requirements by management and franchise
