Job Requirements

General knowledge and respect for the Catholic Church
Knowledge of cleaning and sanitary conditions for public venues
General knowledge of building maintenance
Basic handyman skills
Ability to administer repairs and problem-solve
Bilingual is a plus but not required
Organization and long-range planning skills
Sound verbal and written communication
Availability to work 20 hours per week from 4:30 PM to 9:30 PM Monday-Thursday

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in custodial, maintenance, or facility work
Basic handyman skills
Ability to work evening night shifts
Good verbal and written communication skills
Organizational and problem-solving abilities

Job Duties

Maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions suitable for public venues such as schools and churches
Perform general building maintenance and repairs
Collaborate with parish staff and professional tradespeople to ensure facilities are safe and orderly
Provide security and oversee traffic control during night shifts and special events
Administer problem-solving and maintenance tasks as needed
Ensure confidentiality and respect for the Catholic Church’s requirements
Assist in long-range planning and organizational maintenance efforts
