Job Requirements
- General knowledge and respect for the Catholic Church
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitary conditions for public venues
- General knowledge of building maintenance
- Basic handyman skills
- Ability to administer repairs and problem-solve
- Bilingual is a plus but not required
- Organization and long-range planning skills
- Sound verbal and written communication
- Availability to work 20 hours per week from 4:30 PM to 9:30 PM Monday-Thursday
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in custodial, maintenance, or facility work
- Basic handyman skills
- Ability to work evening night shifts
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Respect for Catholic Church confidentiality and values
Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions suitable for public venues such as schools and churches
- Perform general building maintenance and repairs
- Collaborate with parish staff and professional tradespeople to ensure facilities are safe and orderly
- Provide security and oversee traffic control during night shifts and special events
- Administer problem-solving and maintenance tasks as needed
- Ensure confidentiality and respect for the Catholic Church’s requirements
- Assist in long-range planning and organizational maintenance efforts
