Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- 3-5 years maintenance or facilities trade experience
- Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or equivalent
- Ability to perform physical activities such as walking, balancing, stooping, kneeling, handling
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment with frequent interruptions
- Must change activity frequently
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 3-5 years maintenance or facilities trade experience
- Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or equivalent
- Tolerance of all cultures, music, and art forms
- College diploma preferred
Job Duties
- Participate in monthly safety committee meetings
- Ensure all safety standards meet OSHA requirements
- Maintain safety equipment availability and stock
- Coordinate with operations managers to maintain property
- Oversee mechanical operations including plumbing and electrical systems
- Manage light construction and painting work
- Maintain professional relationships with local vendors and conduct comparative price shopping
- Oversee grounds and landscape upkeep
- Provide positive departmental environment and open communication
- Conduct staff evaluations and training
- Propose raise recommendations
