Job Requirements
- valid California driver’s license
- safe driving record without recent repeated moving violations or serious infractions
- ability to submit to and pass a background investigation including Live Scan fingerprinting
- capability to work weekends, holidays, and varied shift schedules
- ability to perform physically demanding work including lifting up to 25 pounds
- willingness to wear state uniform and purchase required uniform items
- ability to work outdoors in various weather and terrain conditions
- non-telework eligible
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in maintenance or custodial roles preferred
- ability to operate small equipment and vehicles safely
- good physical condition to perform heavy lifting and manual labor
- valid California driver’s license
- ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- willingness to work outdoors in varying environmental conditions
Job Duties
- clean restrooms
- restock restroom supplies
- pick up litter throughout the park
- perform grounds maintenance and manual labor tasks
- operate gators, trucks, and small equipment
- assist permanent personnel with technical and challenging tasks
- adhere to safety protocols and wear required protective equipment
