Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Culinary education or experience preferred
- Three years of advanced cooking skills required
- Previous customer service experience required
- Must possess excellent communication skills including the ability to read write and speak effectively
- Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with customers and employees
- Must have the ability to resolve problems or conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
- Must be able to stand walk and move through all areas of the casino
- Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast paced casino environment and effectively deal with customers management employees and members of the business community in all situations
- Work involves moderate exposure to hot and cold temperatures and or loud noises
- Moderate physical activity is required along with the handling of objects up to fifty pounds
- Work environment involves some exposure to physical risk which requires following basic safety precautions

Job Duties
- Insure food items are properly stored including raw materials and prepared items
- Inspect all outgoing orders are properly prepared including portion control and garnished correctly for presentation
- Insure all items are available for consumption by guests including soups sauces and gravies prior to restaurant opening and assembling supplies and equipment needed for daily cooking
- Take inventory of all meats and seafood requiring knowledge of food items products and amounts needed
- Coordinate food orders to proper cooks
- Prepare all food items with strict adherence to food specifications set out in recipe manual
- Review production schedule to determine food requirements including variety and quantity of food preparation
