Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior cooking experience preferred
- ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
- knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- attention to detail in food preparation and presentation
Job Qualifications
- willing to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
- 1+ years of prior experience as a cook is preferred
- 2+ years of prior experience in a similar setting is preferred
Job Duties
- maintain knowledge of food products and skillfully apply culinary techniques
- identify and safely use kitchen equipment
- restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service
- properly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation
- demonstrate attention to detail with plate presentation and maintain solid menu knowledge
- assist kitchen leadership and staff in executing service
- prepare base sauces, stocks, and soups
- collaborate as a team and assist with guest needs and inquiries
