Job Requirements
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license
- Must have a safe driving record
- Minimum of two years driving experience
- Willingness to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting and prolonged standing
- Must be flexible with little to no advance notice for schedule changes
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid state driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Minimum of two years unsupervised driving experience
- Ability to lift and carry heavy mail items
- Familiarity with postal laws and delivery procedures
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Deliver mail on foot or by vehicle in assigned areas
- Collect mail from residences and businesses
- Maintain professional and effective public relations with customers
- Adhere to postal laws, regulations, and procedures
- Carry mail weighing up to 35 pounds and load/unload containers up to 70 pounds
- Work flexible hours including holidays and weekends
- Ensure mail security and follow safe work methods and procedures
