Job Requirements
- Valid state driver's license
- Safe driving record
- At least two years of unsupervised driving experience
- Ability to work varying schedules including weekends and holidays
- Physical capability to perform moderate to heavy lifting and prolonged walking
- Flexibility to handle schedule changes with little or no notice
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must relocate to Peabody, MA 01960 before starting work
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status
- Continuous residency in the United States or U.S. territory for the last 5 years
- Proficient in English
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent

- Familiarity with postal laws and geography of the delivery area
- Ability to lift and carry mail up to 35 pounds
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Deliver mail on foot or by vehicle in a designated area
- Collect mail from mailboxes and postal facilities
- Maintain professional public relations with customers and the community
- Adhere to postal laws, regulations, and procedures
- Carry mail weighing up to 35 pounds and load or unload containers up to 70 pounds
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions including rain, snow, and heat
- Ensure mail security and follow established safe work methods and procedures
