Job Requirements
- Minimum age 18
- high school diploma or equivalent
- completion of company orientation and food safety and sanitation training upon hire
- ability to function in a fast-paced retail environment
- ability to perform detailed and precise tasks
- ability to work with customers attentively
- ability to lift and manage weight as specified for department roles
- compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to operate and maintain department equipment properly

- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- knowledge of computer systems and equipment such as PC, symbol, scales, and label machines

Job Duties
- Provides superior customer service
- takes orders from customers by telephone or in person
- answers customer questions regarding products and assists them with selections
- prepares, packages, and merchandises fresh product effectively
- slices, packages, labels, rotates, and culls products for poor quality
- assists in technical areas as needed such as basic set-up and clean-up processes
- uses suggestive selling techniques and basic product knowledge to meet customer needs and build department sales
