Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years private club dining or restaurant experience preferred
  • Supervisor or trainer experience preferred
  • Food safety certification required
  • TAM alcoholic beverage certification required
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks like lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work in hot humid cool or noisy environments potentially outdoors
  • Ability to handle emergency situations effectively

Job Duties

  • Supervises daily operations of Madison Cafe ensuring compliance with all food and beverage policies standards and procedures
  • Inspects employees to ensure proper and clean uniforms
  • Assures correct appearance cleanliness and safety of dining outlets equipment and fixtures checks maintenance and reports deficiencies
  • Assists management team to hire train supervise schedule and evaluate cafe food and beverage staff
  • Develops and updates policy and procedure manuals
  • Suggests improvements in procedures and efficiency
  • Develops and implements marketing programs to increase business
  • Orders stocks and maintains food and beverage inventory using proper procedures
  • Attends staff meetings and may present
  • Serves as liaison between front of house and culinary team working with executive chef to update menu changes and relay member requests
  • Monitors and adheres to budget adjusting to achieve financial goals
  • Manages scheduling and payroll
  • Assures assigned outlets are secure at end of business day
  • Produces daily end of shift weekly and monthly reports including sales labor and tips
  • Performs daily point of sale closeout and tip distributions if applicable
  • Assists in monthly inventory
  • Updates daily shift report folders
