Job Requirements
- Minimum age 18
- 1+ years of related experience or training
- Completion of power jack training
- Completion of meat cutter training and certification within 3 months
- Ability to lift and carry loads of 40-60 lbs
- Ability to frequently stand walk bend reach pivot push pull with arms grasp
- Ability to work with customers and stay attentive to their needs
- Ability to function in a fast-paced retail environment
- Willingness to be exposed to moving mechanical parts extreme cold high-tech chemicals
- Ability to comply with food safety sanitation and store policies
Job Qualifications

- Communication skills
- Completion of meat cutter learning plan and certification by trainer of the Meat Cutter Final Assessment course
- Meat-cutting skills including saw and grinder operation
- Working knowledge of product rotation department and store sanitation shrink awareness MS Outlook including Word Excel
- Completion of meat cutter training and certification within 3 months
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Experience in handling food safety and sanitation procedures
Job Duties
- Cut trims bones meat for display or as ordered by customer according to company standards
- Operate electric grinder saw knife sharpener tenderizer slicer
- Weigh wrap label product packages for counter display and rotate product as needed
- Rotate product in meat cooler and ensure proper storage practices
- Use MCS technology to generate production list and track re-works
- Assist customers with product questions
- Scan in items on Telxon for production
- Clean and sanitize display cases and properly operate and maintain equipment
- Comply with H-E-B food safety and sanitation standards
- Comply with department SOPs store operating procedures and federal state fresh meat regulations
- Provide superior customer service
- Answer customer questions regarding products and assist them with selections
