Job Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Must be able to stand for long periods
- Ability to climb ladders, reach, bend, twist, kneel, and lift heavy items
- Accurate cash handling and money denomination skills
- Effective communication with customers and team members
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
- Availability to work flexible shifts including holidays and weekends

- Ability to complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently
- Customer service oriented with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic math skills and ability to accurately count money
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform stocking duties
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Familiarity with cash register systems and credit verification preferred
Job Duties
- Greet customers as they enter and exit the store
- Accurately process customer transactions including credit cards, cash, and checks
- Handle returns, exchanges, and sales of merchandise
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly and courteously
- Receive payments on commercial accounts and assist with credit applications
- Complete and file due tickets and rain checks for customers
- Count cash tenders, prepare deposits, and organize the cash drawer for the next day
- Utilize credit and check verification systems according to company policy
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the store
- Follow all cashier procedures and protect company assets
- Assist customers by directing them to items or calling team members for support
- Handle stocking responsibilities and other tasks as assigned by store management
- Maintain a positive customer service attitude at all times
- Ensure accurate merchandise verification including quantities, descriptions, and prices
- Manage paperwork including daily reports and currency documentation efficiently
