Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • 1 year of manufacturing experience
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Verification of employment eligibility required at the time of hire
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
  • Position entails access to export-controlled items and requires lawful access
  • Ability to work 12 hour rotating night shifts from 7:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M.
  • Capable of performing physical demands including standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds and using hands for handling and feeling
  • Compliance with all EHS guidelines and wearing personal protective equipment
  • Maintain acceptable attendance
  • Ability to operate production and quality assurance equipment
  • Willingness to participate in continuous improvement activities

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • 1 year of manufacturing experience
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Basic computer skills preferred
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Verification of employment eligibility required
  • Ability to lawfully obtain access to export-controlled items
  • Strong ability to plan, perform and make decisions regarding set-ups and operations
  • Ability to interpret and follow instructions, prescribed routines, methods and practices

Job Duties

  • Perform machine set-up and wheel changes in assigned workstation within standard set-up times
  • Maintain all quality and production records including tooling calibration and daily walk around
  • Maintain productivity, utilization, schedule and quality records and comply with all standards
  • Perform inspection of non-certified operators
  • Assist with training of machine trainees as required
  • Perform TPM duties
  • Maintain 5S and other area housekeeping standards
  • Execute clean-up shift procedures
  • Maintain visual control boards and hour by hour charts
  • Participate and actively promote continuous improvement activities
  • Follow policies and procedures as outlined in Employee Handbook
  • Actively participate, promote and comply with all Quality and EHS programs and policies
  • Achieve and maintain certified status
  • Maintain acceptable attendance
  • Perform all other job duties as assigned
