Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or a GED
  • At least one year of experience in a manufacturing facility is desired
  • Ability to understand basic machine operations and settings
  • Light to moderate lifting up to 40 pounds at a time
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures
  • Availability to work 3rd shift hours from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.

  • Ability to understand basic machine operations and settings
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow safety protocols
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work overnight shifts effectively

Job Duties

  • Prioritize safety while operating and monitoring packaging machines to deliver high quality product to customers
  • Inspect materials to verify proper formation and sealing
  • Oversee machine operation to prevent line jams
  • Document quality and production results including code dates, material usage, metal detection checks
  • Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Contribute to improving and developing efficient production line processes
  • Assist with equipment sanitation and maintaining a clean work environment
