Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs
- Must stand for long periods
- Bending and lifting required
- Must be able to go up and down stairs frequently
- ServSafe and RAMPS/TIPS certified
- Flexible schedule including mandatory holidays such as Easter, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, New Year’s Eve, weddings, golf outings, and events
Job Qualifications
- Prior bartending experience
- Knowledge of high-end cocktails
- Understanding of bar cleanliness and organization
- Experience with POS systems
- Knowledge of proper wine service
- ServSafe and RAMPS/TIPS certifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic team environment
Job Duties
- Report to work on time
- Change into a clean, pressed uniform with name tag
- Perform opening and closing side work
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Greet tables using members' names
- Practice suggestive selling and inform guests of promotions
- Ensure knowledge of proper wine service and willingness to learn more
- Take orders with correct seat numbers
- Refresh cocktails and maintain tables
- Handwrite orders clearly before entering into POS
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Follow proper table etiquette including serving women first and host last
- Build rapport with members and staff
- Reset tables and clean station before closing
- Close out all chits properly and complete end of shift report
- Report to manager before leaving
- Take ownership of situations and assist team members
