Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent at hire
- MA certification within 90 days from hire from approved agencies
- 1 year MA experience or completion of 100-hour externship for new graduates
- Basic Life Support certification required at hire
- Ability to lift and carry equipment
- Flexibility to travel and work at rural locations
- Ability to complete orientation and training including in-person classes
- Commitment to working part-time PRN schedule
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- MA certification within 90 days from hire from an approved agency
- Basic Life Support certification for healthcare providers
- Experience working with underserved populations preferred
- Bilingual Spanish and medical interpreter certification preferred
- Ability to operate RV after training
- Competency in clinical skills like vitals, venipuncture, ear lavage
- Familiarity with Epic medical record system
Job Duties
- Performing rooming and patient intakes
- Conducting point of care testing
- Administering vaccinations
- Assisting with provider exams including diabetes and heart screening
- Following up with patients and addressing social determinants of health
- Driving the RV after trained
- Completing real-time documentation in Epic medical record system
