Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Ability to work varied shifts including weekends
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Ability to pass background checks
- Excellent communication skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Knowledge of community resources and local events
- Ability to support residents in activities of daily living
Job Duties
- Welcome residents and visitors warmly
- Support residents in attending Day Programs and Work Programs
- Facilitate community access and participation in community events
- Coordinate and participate in fully staffed outings and social activities
- Provide compassionate care to residents with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities
- Maintain compliance with California Department of Public Health regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure comprehensive care and support
