Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Ability to work varied shifts including weekends
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
  • Ability to pass background checks
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred
  • Knowledge of community resources and local events
  • Ability to support residents in activities of daily living

Job Duties

  • Welcome residents and visitors warmly
  • Support residents in attending Day Programs and Work Programs
  • Facilitate community access and participation in community events
  • Coordinate and participate in fully staffed outings and social activities
  • Provide compassionate care to residents with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities
  • Maintain compliance with California Department of Public Health regulations
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure comprehensive care and support
