Job Requirements
- Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
- Minimum of one year nursing experience in a relevant setting
- Ability to work part-time hours
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Compliance with HIPAA and safety regulations
- Reliable transportation to and from Visalia, CA
Job Qualifications
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) certification

Job Duties
- Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants in compliance with regulations
- Ensure nursing personnel adhere to facility policies and procedures
- Review and recommend revisions to department policies and manuals
- Plan shift services and activities with nursing and support staff
- Maintain and enforce the Nursing Service Procedures Manual
- Prepare and administer medications ordered by physicians
- Complete and file all required documentation and charts
- Supervise nursing personnel and nursing assistant training
- Participate in quality assurance and facility surveys
- Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as necessary
- Conduct rounds and collaborate with physicians on resident care
- Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and infection control standards
- Facilitate staff development through training and in-service programs
- Report incidents, accidents, and discrepancies to appropriate supervisors
