Job Duties

  • Serve a section of the bar including the service well as determined by management
  • work effectively as part of a team
  • maintain complete knowledge of the food and beverage menu and service standards
  • sell food and beverage items professionally
  • enter and complete guest orders on a point-of-sale system
  • interact with guests in a friendly and timely manner ensuring satisfaction
  • mix, garnish and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages following standard recipes
  • maintain cleanliness, organization, sanitation and attractive displays in the bar area
  • carry and transport trays with beverages and plates
  • clear and reset tables
  • wash and sterilize stemware
  • responsibly serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with policies and laws
  • check identification to ensure legal drinking age
  • observe guest behavior and handle disorderly customers appropriately
  • maintain a neat and clean personal appearance
  • display integrity and honesty in employment
  • perform other duties as directed
