Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equal to a GED
  • must provide valid document(s) to work in the US
  • must meet legal age requirements for the position
  • food handler certificate
  • TIPs certificate
  • must be able to lift 25 lbs, occasional lifting of 45 lbs or more
  • must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • must speak and communicate in English
  • must be able to clearly communicate with guests, management and coworkers

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in fine dining
  • basic knowledge of food and beverage
  • ability to multi-task and handle high pressure situations
  • personable and great people skills
  • must be able to work independently

Job Duties

  • Has full knowledge and understanding of the menus
  • has a working knowledge of the wine list and all beverages served including spirits, beers, wines by-the-glass, after dinner drinks, non-alcoholic offerings, and coffee and tea options
  • understands the operation of the POS system
  • constantly monitors guest's needs and responds promptly
  • maintains presence on the floor when waiting for food to be plated
  • respects co-workers and guests alike
  • communicates with kitchen expeditor and fires courses in a timely fashion
  • assists co-workers when necessary
  • maintains a positive attitude
  • supports safe work habits and a safe working environment at all times
  • other duties and jobs may be assigned as needed by supervisor
