Job Requirements

High school diploma or equal to a GED
food handler certificate
TIPs certificate
must be able to lift 25 lbs
must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
must speak and communicate in English
must be able to clearly communicate with guests, management and coworkers
must provide valid document(s) to work in the US
must meet legal age requirements for the position

Previous experience in fine dining
basic knowledge of food and beverage
ability to multi-task and handle high pressure situations

Job Duties

Has full knowledge and understanding of the menus
has a working knowledge of the wine list and all beverages served including spirits, beers, wines by-the-glass, after dinner drinks, non-alcoholic offerings, and coffee and tea options
understands the operation of the POS system
constantly monitors guests needs and responds promptly
maintains presence on the floor when waiting for food to be plated
respects co-workers and guests alike
communicates with kitchen expeditor and fires courses in timely fashion
assists co-workers when necessary
maintains a positive attitude
supports safe work habits and a safe working environment at all times
performs other duties and jobs as assigned by supervisor
