Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in food and beverage or event operations
  • valid alcohol service certification required such as TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol
  • strong understanding of alcohol laws and compliance standards
  • excellent communication skills
  • leadership skills
  • conflict resolution skills
  • ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • college coursework preferred
  • minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in food and beverage or event operations
  • valid alcohol service certification such as TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol required
  • strong understanding of alcohol laws and compliance standards
  • excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
  • ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • experience in collegiate or large-scale event environments preferred
  • familiarity with POS systems and inventory management tools preferred
  • ability to manage high-volume operations with attention to detail preferred

Job Duties

  • Supervise alcohol service operations during campus events including sporting events, concerts, and special functions
  • ensure all alcohol-related activities comply with local, state, and university regulations
  • monitor staff adherence to responsible beverage service protocols such as ID checks and refusal of service
  • maintain accurate inventory records and oversee secure storage and distribution of alcoholic products
  • coordinate with event managers, security, and campus officials to ensure safe alcohol service
  • train and support team members on alcohol policies and procedures
  • respond to incidents involving alcohol service and escalate as necessary
  • assist with post-event reporting and reconciliation of alcohol sales and inventory
