Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in food and beverage or event operations
  • Valid alcohol service certification e g TIPS ServSafe Alcohol
  • Strong understanding of alcohol laws and compliance standards
  • Excellent communication leadership and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed

Job Qualifications

  • College coursework preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in food and beverage or event operations
  • Valid alcohol service certification e g TIPS ServSafe Alcohol
  • Strong understanding of alcohol laws and compliance standards
  • Excellent communication leadership and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed
  • Experience in collegiate or large-scale event environments preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management tools preferred
  • Ability to manage high-volume operations with attention to detail preferred

Job Duties

  • Supervise alcohol service operations during campus events including sporting events concerts and special functions
  • Ensure all alcohol-related activities comply with local state and university regulations
  • Monitor staff adherence to responsible beverage service protocols e g ID checks refusal of service
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee secure storage and distribution of alcoholic products
  • Coordinate with event managers security and campus officials to ensure safe alcohol service
  • Train and support team members on alcohol policies and procedures
  • Respond to incidents involving alcohol service and escalate as necessary
  • Assist with post-event reporting and reconciliation of alcohol sales and inventory
