Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Class A or B CDL license with hazmat and tanker endorsements
- Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- LP Delivery certification through the TRRC (preferred, or with the ability to obtain)
- TWIC card (preferred)
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to heavy weights of 20 to 100 lbs for approximately 90% of the work shift
- Ability to regularly climb in and out of a commercial motor vehicle multiple times per work shift
- Good hand eye coordination, arm hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp and visual acuity to operate equipment including at night
- Must be able to speak and hear
- Subject to pre-hire DOT medical certification requirements and drug and/or alcohol testing
- Must pass pre-employment screening and background check
- May require working evening hours and weekends as needed
- Work is normally performed outside where exposure to conditions of extreme heat/cold, fumes, airborne particles, and gases is common
Job Qualifications

- Proven work experience as a propane delivery driver
- Advanced knowledge of propane (LP) and refined fuel systems
- Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety (FMCSA) Regulations
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to learn, grow, and uphold a customer focused culture that continually strives to exceed expectations
Job Duties
- Complies with all city, state, and federal regulations
- Loads, secures, transports, and delivers propane and fuel to residential/commercial locations
- Performs pre and post-trip inspections on equipment used for the transportation of hazardous materials
- Maintains and completes accurate records by documenting truck inspections, hours of service, product transported, and miles driven in compliance with all DOT regulations
- Maintains the operational efficiency of vehicles by monitoring truck maintenance needs, conducting minor repairs and conducting daily DOT truck inspections to ensure maximum vehicle safety
- Ensures that delivery vehicle receives service according to maintenance schedule
- reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor
- Performs other related duties as assigned
