Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • at least 1 year of related work experience
  • ability to work evening shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • capability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
  • physical ability to move and lift objects up to 25 pounds independently and heavier objects with assistance
  • effective communication skills
  • willingness to follow safety protocols
  • commitment to maintaining professional appearance
  • no supervisory experience required
  • availability to work part time

Job Duties

  • Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
  • set tables according to event and service standards
  • answer questions on menu selections
  • communicate with kitchen staff about menu questions, wait times, re-cooks, and product availability
  • communicate additional meal requirements such as allergies and dietary needs
  • record transactions in MICROS system
  • check in with guests to ensure satisfaction
  • maintain cleanliness of work areas and dining utensils
  • complete closing duties including restocking and securing work areas
  • present accurate checks and process payments
  • follow all company safety and security policies
  • report accidents and unsafe conditions
  • complete safety training
  • maintain personal appearance and confidentiality
  • welcome and acknowledge guests according to standards
  • anticipate and address guest service needs
  • assist individuals with disabilities
  • develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • support team goals
  • ensure adherence to quality standards
  • read and verify information
  • stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
  • move and handle objects within weight limits
  • perform other reasonable job duties as assigned
