Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • proven experience in hospitality management
  • ability to work night shifts including weekends
  • must be bilingual in English and Mandarin
  • ability to pass background check for SFO airport badging
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of local health and safety regulations
  • valid work authorization
  • strong organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee the daily operations of the lounge
  • manage all lounge operations professionally and efficiently
  • optimize and maximize staff productivity to ensure a premium guest experience
  • represent Global Lounge with SFO airport authorities, airlines, and suppliers
  • establish strong communication channels and regular exchange of information between all operational departments
  • assign duty roster for front of the house and back of the house teams
  • ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the lounge
  • handle client feedback and staff grievances
  • oversee improvements and implementation of new services and operational policies
  • operate and troubleshoot service-related equipment such as dishwashers, convection ovens, and coffee makers
  • distribute and ensure accuracy of daily billing reports
  • maintain lounge budget including allocation of resources and personnel
  • prepare budget forecasts
  • oversee inventory, ordering of food and supplies, and equipment repair and maintenance
  • recruit, select, train, and develop staff
  • train employees on point of sale and lounge access programs
  • maximize staff efficiency and ensure quality of work
  • monitor staff appearance, attire, conduct, and work attitude
  • discipline and resolve conflicts appropriately
  • ensure compliance with local licensing regulations including liquor license, health and hygiene, and Food Handling standards
  • implement standard operating procedures and ensure their adherence
  • document SOP improvements and communicate updates to headquarters
  • manage administrative matters such as new hire documentation, airport badging, and accounting reporting
  • comply with local and airport specific labor laws
  • regularly inspect installations and equipment maintenance
  • take appropriate action for repairs or replacement of malfunctioning equipment
  • develop and implement operational strategies
  • work towards achievement of company quality objectives and targets
  • participate in continual improvement activities
  • engage in business development projects as assigned
  • undertake other duties as required
  • pass background check for SFO airport badging
