Job Requirements

Job Duties
- be accountable for exceptional customer service, cash handling, and accounting
- operate a cash register
- stock, price, rotate, and display bar inventories
- maintain housekeeping inside and outside of the casino
- efficiently mix and complete drink orders
- remember regular customer’s names and faces and monitor legal age requirements
- wait on customers playing games and at the tables
- clean and keep bar furniture neatly arranged
- suggest selling and help customers with gaming machine operations
- wear the uniform and keep appearance neat and clean
- answer and screen telephone calls
- greet customers
- verify that customers are of legal age
- take orders
- clean restrooms, dust, windows, and floors
- empty trash cans and dishes
- clean tables and messes of others
- accurately make change and account for large amounts of cash
- stock, price, receive, and rotate bar products and supplies, including changing kegs
- use fire extinguisher and other safety equipment
- understand safety manual
- complete casino restroom logs
- advise the manager of personnel situations or policy violations
- call maintenance or gaming machine company for repairs
- change tape in gambling machines
- fill glasses of beer from the tap
- serve wine, mixed, bottled, and draft beverages
- distribute drinks and pick up empty glasses, pitchers, cans, bottles, and litter
- fill and carry ice buckets from icemaker to bar
- change soda premix syrup boxes
- change taps on kegs of beer and remove empty kegs
- vacuum, mop, and sweep floors
- wash glassware and clean bar/work area
- arrange bottles and glasses for attractive displays
- handle disruptive customers professionally and document incidents
- communicate with manager on products to order
- plan bar menus
- create drink recipes
- order and requisition liquors and supplies
- serve snacks or food items to customers at the bar
- make change and receive payments for drinks and retail sales
- operate cash register and tally transactions
- assist patrons verifying wins
- record and make payouts
- accurately complete shift paperwork
- balance tills and cash receipts
- complete other duties as assigned by management
