Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- be accountable for exceptional customer service, cash handling, and accounting
- operate a cash register
- stock, price, rotate, and display bar inventories
- perform housekeeping inside and outside of the casino
- efficiently mix and complete drink orders
- remember regular customers' names and faces and monitor legal age requirements
- wait on customers playing games and at the tables
- clean and keep bar furniture neatly arranged
- suggest selling and assist customers with gaming machine operations
- wear the uniform and maintain neat appearance
- answer and screen telephone calls
- greet customers and verify age
- clean restrooms, dust, clean windows and floors
- empty trash cans and wash dishes
- clean tables and messes
- accurately make change and account for large amounts of cash
- manage stocking, pricing, receiving, and rotating of bar products and supplies including changing kegs
- use fire extinguisher and safety equipment
- understand the safety manual
- complete casino restroom logs
- advise management of personnel or policy issues affecting operations
- coordinate with maintenance or gaming machine company for machine repairs and paper or ribbon changes
- fill glasses of beer from tap
- serve wine, mixed, bottled, and draft beverages
- distribute drinks and pick up empty glasses, pitchers, cans, bottles, and litter
- fill and carry buckets of ice
- change soda premix syrup boxes and taps on beer kegs
- vacuum, mop, and sweep lounge and bar floors
- wash glassware and clean bar/work area
- arrange bottles and glasses attractively
- handle disruptive customers professionally and document incidents
- communicate with management on ordering products
- plan bar menus and create drink recipes
- order and requisition liquors and supplies
- serve snacks or food items to bar customers
- operate cash register and handle retail sales
- assist patrons with verifying wins and making payouts
- complete shift paperwork and balance tills
- perform any other duties assigned by management
