Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a similar role preferred
- must be at least 21 years old
- ability to handle cash transactions responsibly
- excellent customer service skills
- physical ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the casino floor
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- ability to follow safety guidelines and use equipment like fire extinguishers
- reliable and punctual work ethic
- must pass background check and any required drug screenings
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in bartending or customer service preferred
- knowledge of cash handling and POS systems
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- familiarity with bar inventory management
- understanding of safety regulations and procedures
- capability to handle conflict and difficult customers professionally
- basic knowledge of drink recipes and beverage service
- ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Job Duties
- provide exceptional customer service to guests
- handle cash transactions and operate cash register accurately
- stock, price, rotate, and display bar inventories
- maintain cleanliness inside and outside the casino including restrooms and floor areas
- mix and complete drink orders efficiently
- remember regular customers' names and monitor legal age requirements
- assist customers with gaming machine operations and table games
- wear uniform and maintain a neat appearance
- answer and screen telephone calls
- clean and organize bar furniture and surrounding areas
- use safety equipment as needed and follow safety protocols
- communicate with management about personnel or operational issues
- coordinate maintenance and repairs for gaming machines
- stock and rotate bar products including handling kegs
- vacuum, mop, and sweep lounge floor and wash glassware
- handle disruptive customers professionally and document incidents
- plan bar menus, order and requisition liquors and supplies
- serve snacks or food items at the bar
- assist patrons with verifying wins and making payouts
- complete shift paperwork, balance tills and cash receipts
- perform any other duties assigned by management
