Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • availability to work Saturday and Monday nights from 6 pm to 11 pm
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • basic bartending skills or completion of bartending school
  • adherence to credit card handling procedures
  • ability to follow company checklists for opening and closing duties
  • physical ability to stock and replenish bar supplies

Job Qualifications

  • Recent graduation from bartending school preferred
  • basic knowledge of cocktail making and bar operations
  • ability to follow company beverage standards
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work evenings on Saturdays and Mondays
  • commitment to maintaining cleanliness and inventory
  • ability to handle credit card transactions according to company policies
  • customer service orientation

Job Duties

  • Set up bar
  • break down bar, lock up liquor, and store fruit and juices properly
  • accept drink orders from guests/servers in proper calling order
  • make cocktails in accordance beverage standards using standard jigger
  • follow all check handling procedures, including all credit card policies and procedures
  • complete all opening and closing duties as listed on the checklist
  • check and replace glassware where needed
  • stock and replenish ice at all ice stations
  • clean floors in area of responsibility at the end of each shift
  • empty and steam-clean trashcans at the end of each shift or as necessary
  • be responsible for the inventory of the soda and juices and their rotation of stock
  • stock and replenish beer in bottles and kegs when necessary
