Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of experience in bar or hospitality service
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance (if applicable)
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Availability to work variable shifts including nights and weekends
  • Must adhere to hotel policies and safety regulations
  • Must have strong interpersonal and guest service skills
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
  • Must wear proper uniform and maintain professional appearance
  • Ability to work safely and maintain cleanliness at all times

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a hospitality or bar service role
  • Knowledge of beverage preparation and cocktail recipes
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to follow established procedures and hotel policies
  • Competency in handling cash and financial transactions
  • Familiarity with safety and hygiene standards in food and beverage service
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Basic knowledge of local area and hotel facilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Job Duties

  • Set up bar and prepare all necessary supplies
  • Accept and process drink orders efficiently
  • Mix and serve drinks according to standards
  • Adhere to beverage control procedures and policies
  • Ensure all drinks are properly accounted for
  • Maintain responsibility for assigned cash bank
  • Complete liquor requisitions and supply management
  • Follow cash handling and guest check procedures
  • Maintain established inventory pars
  • Perform side work duties as scheduled
  • Keep bar areas clean and organized
  • Follow Clean-As-You-Go sanitation policy
  • Manage guest checks and cash collections
  • Break down bar and secure liquor after service
  • Follow standardized cocktail preparation methods
  • Attend departmental meetings
  • Work safely and maintain a flexible schedule
  • Maintain proper uniform and name tag
  • Adhere to hotel policies and internal rules
  • Stay updated on hotel operations and guest services
  • Assist colleagues to improve hotel operations
  • Understand and implement emergency procedures
  • Provide local information and attractions to guests
  • Secure cash bank when leaving area
  • Report unusual incidents to management
  • Greet guests promptly and offer assistance
  • Monitor guest service scores and participate in improvement
  • Possess and maintain valid driver’s license and insurance when required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
