Job Requirements
- Minimum of 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
- 1-year experience as a server or barback preferred but not required
- Must have good understanding of the English language
- You will be operating a F&B establishment of a leisure driven hotel
- Seeking an outgoing individual with the ability to keep conversations with guests
- Looking for a positive energy and knowledgeable individual of the surrounding area
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or general education degree (GED)
- Certification of previous training in liquor, wine, and food service
- Certification in an alcohol awareness program
- Certification in CPR
- Knowledge of various drink recipes and beverage service standards
- Previous guest/customer relations training
- Ability to input and access information in the property management system/computers/point of sales system
Job Duties
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas
- Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections available in the assigned outlet
- Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving
- Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies
- Always keep bank secure
- Maintain complete knowledge of POS and manual systems
- Greet guests and take their orders, utilizing suggestive/up-selling techniques
