Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- bartending experience preferred
- ability to mix and serve drinks according to recipes
- excellent customer service skills
- knowledge of state and local alcohol service laws
- ability to handle cash and credit transactions
- must be able to work flexible, rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
- physical stamina to stand and walk for long periods
- ability to follow company policies and procedures
- must always wear uniform and identification badge
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous bartending or customer service experience preferred
- knowledge of cocktail recipes and beverage preparation
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- understanding of health and safety regulations
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight
- familiarity with local area and hotel services
Job Duties
- Mix ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks
- serve wine and other draught or bottled beer
- collect money for drinks served
- order and requisition liquors and supplies
- place bottled goods and glasses to create attractive displays
- slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks
- prepare appetizers such as pickles, cheese, and cold meats
- perform duties in compliance with company policies and local, state, and federal laws
- ensure compliance with state and local regulations related to the public operation of the hotel bar, including occupancy and safety
- recognize valid state-issued identification cards and drivers licenses
- wear uniform and name identification badge while on duty
- support the company’s core values and guest service philosophy
