Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous bartending experience preferred
  • Knowledge of drink recipes and ingredients
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Cash handling skills
  • Compliance with alcohol service laws
  • Availability to work regular hours
  • Professional and courteous demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role preferred
  • Knowledge of standard drink recipes and presentation techniques
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • Understanding of state and federal alcohol service regulations
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the bar area
  • Team player with a positive attitude

Job Duties

  • Maintain proper and adequate setup of the bar daily
  • Requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments and produce based on daily projections
  • Maintain stock, cut, and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to ensure product quality
  • Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promote and document orders for drinks
  • Mix, garnish and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control
  • Abide by all state, federal and corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages
  • Input orders into a register at the point of sale and create a check for each guest, maintaining accountability of all beverages served
  • Receive cash from guests, make change, verify validity of charges, record charges, and ensure proper execution of vouchers to balance all money
  • Lock up and store all beverage, food and other equipment items, deposit cash drops and secure bank
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
