Job Requirements

Job Duties
- be accountable for exceptional customer service, cash handling, and accounting
- operate a cash register
- stock, price, rotate, and display bar inventories
- perform housekeeping inside and outside of the casino
- efficiently mix and complete drink orders
- remember regular customers' names and faces and monitor legal age requirements
- wait on customers playing games and at tables
- clean and keep bar furniture neatly arranged
- suggest and help customers with gaming machine operations
- wear the uniform and keep appearance neat and clean
- answer and screen telephone calls
- greet customers
- verify that customers are of legal age
- take orders
- clean restrooms, dust, clean windows and floors
- empty trash cans and wash dishes
- clean tables and messes
- accurately make change and account for large amounts of cash
- be responsible for stocking, pricing, receiving, and rotating bar products and supplies, including changing out kegs
- use fire extinguisher and other safety equipment
- understand the safety manual
- complete casino restroom logs
- advise manager of personnel situations or policy violations affecting casino operations
- call maintenance or gaming company to repair machines or assist with changing paper or ribbons
- change tape in gambling machines
- fill glasses of beer from tap
- serve wine, mixed, bottled, and draft beverages
- distribute drinks to customers and pick up empty containers and litter
- fill and carry ice buckets
- change soda syrup boxes and keg taps
- remove empty kegs
- vacuum, mop, and sweep lounge and bar floors
- wash glassware and clean bar area
- arrange bottles and glasses for attractive displays
- handle disruptive customers professionally and document incidents
- communicate with manager on product orders
- plan bar menus and create drink recipes
- order and requisition liquors and supplies
- serve snacks or food items at the bar
- make change, receive payments, conduct retail sales and operate cash register
- assist patrons with verifying wins, record and make payouts
- complete shift paperwork, balance tills, and cash receipts
- complete any other duties assigned by management
