Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in casino or hospitality industry preferred
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- must have reliable means of communication (phone, cell phone, pager, or message phone)
- capability to perform management duties in absence of the manager
- strong attention to detail
- good organizational and multitasking skills
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- experience in casino operations or hospitality management preferred
- strong leadership and organizational skills
- proficiency in computer data entry and office procedures
- excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- knowledge of accounting principles and cash handling
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- familiarity with liquor inventory management and state regulations
- capacity to handle multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
- problem-solving and decision-making skills
Job Duties
- be accountable for customer service during the shift
- make accounting decisions consistent with casino operations standards, policies, and procedures
- assist in planning, leadership, organizing, and follow-ups for office procedures, vendor invoicing, computer data entries, and shortage controls
- set proper examples of professionalism, attitude, and teamwork to coworkers
- be trained to cover all manager duties such as payroll, inventories, scheduling, issuing counseling reports, retrains, and machine repairs
- handle and screen phone calls, order and maintain office supplies, and process and audit invoices
- prioritize and organize office tasks, responsible for security of all casino assets and control of casino cash fund, inventories, and auditing of shift reports
- complete casino paperwork, daily reports, purchases, inventory adjustments, and payroll records
- manage vendor controls, invoice handling, liquor orders, stock liquor store, and maintain company standards
- maintain accurate pricing for liquor products according to promotions and state regulations, prepare for liquor audits and conduct liquor audits
- prepare bank deposits subject to manager approval, record sales and purchases in casino’s running book, and ensure casino safety
- fill in all manager tasks in absence of manager
- work nights, weekends, and holidays
- maintain communication through phone, message phone, cell phone, or pager
