Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food and beverage supervisory roles
  • physically able to stand for long hours
  • ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
  • able to work in adverse weather conditions
  • proficient with POS systems and Paycom time and attendance
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Job Qualifications

  • prior experience in food and beverage supervisory roles
  • strong knowledge of bar and restaurant operations
  • proficiency with POS systems and time attendance software

  • ability to manage inventory and accounting tasks
  • experience with creating standard operating procedures

Job Duties

  • Understand and apply all safety and security procedures to maintain a safe environment for employees and guests
  • file Worker’s Comp or General Liability claims within 24 hours when necessary
  • maintain organized and efficient restaurant operations
  • maintain organized and efficient bar and lounge operations
  • determine, communicate, and monitor achievement standards and performance on a timely basis
  • handle disciplinary action and counseling sessions as needed
  • work in a fast-paced customer service environment and meet deadlines
  • oversee operation of all food and beverage operations
  • utilize computer terminals, POS system, and Paycom time and attendance software
  • attend BEO, staff, and food and beverage meetings
  • assist the Bar and Lounge Manager on daily tasks
  • handle and send beverage orders to suppliers weekly
  • run glassware inventory monthly
  • create SOPs for bar and lounge operations
  • assist with cocktail program creation and updates
  • manage accounting for purchases and inventory
  • analyze operation reports, financial statements, and labor costs
  • perform special projects for General Manager or Bar and Lounge Manager
  • communicate with other managers regarding internal events
  • taste food and beverage products for quality and consistency
  • market ideas and promotions in food and beverage department
  • handle customer satisfaction issues
  • oversee disciplinary actions for food and beverage associates
  • monitor POS systems and cashier procedures
  • perform associates’ job responsibilities as needed
  • follow opening and closing procedures for the restaurant
