Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 2 years of experience in bar or restaurant supervisory role
  • ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for long hours
  • capable of lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds
  • willing to work in adverse weather conditions
  • strong computer and POS system skills
  • ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure
  • excellent communication skills
  • knowledge of food safety and workplace safety standards.

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Understand and apply all safety and security procedures to maintain a secure environment for employees and guests
  • file Worker’s Comp or General Liability claims within 24 hours if necessary
  • maintain organized and efficient restaurant operations
  • maintain organized and efficient operations in bar and lounge
  • determine, communicate, and monitor achievement and performance standards
  • handle disciplinary action and counseling sessions as needed
  • work under pressure in a fast-paced customer service environment
  • oversee operations of all food and beverage services
  • be knowledgeable of computer terminal, POS system, and Paycom time and attendance
  • attend BEO, staff, and food and beverage meetings
  • assist the Bar and Lounge Manager with daily tasks
  • handle and send beverage orders to suppliers weekly
  • run monthly glassware inventory
  • create standard operating procedures for bar and lounge
  • assist in creating or updating cocktail programs
  • manage accounting for all purchases and inventory
  • analyze day-to-day operation reports and financial statements
  • perform special projects for General Manager or Bar and Lounge Manager
  • communicate with managers regarding internal events
  • taste food and beverages for quality control
  • market ideas and promotions in food and beverage department
  • handle customer satisfaction and complaints
  • oversee disciplinary actions for food and beverage associates
  • monitor POS systems and cashier procedures
  • perform job responsibilities of associates as needed
  • open and close restaurant following procedures.
